This may be very wierd to some of you, but how do you meet new people for your business? I mean, people in real life not computer friends? I go to the park but I'm busy following my 2 yo around that I don't talk to anyone there, and I haven't figured out how to walk up to a stranger in the grocery store. So how do you do it? Thanks in advance.
I'm not good at talking to real people since most times I'm battling when in public so I'm not an easy person to just start talking to! LOL
and usually end up only talkin to men and getting car leads and mortgage leads but not too many women talk to me so I dont get to meet many that would benefit Affordable Mineral Makeup.
I am the block president for our neighborhood crime watch group, I belong to a moms walking fitness group, I volunteer my time in a nursing home and so forth.
If you're in the mall and you have people who try to get you to apply for a store credit card or free portrait, how about asking them if they want to have their own home business? Do you think they enjoy holding their clipboard hounding mall shoppers? lol
Think of any "real world" people you might see on a consistant basis. I have friends from church, homeschool co-op, my doctor's offices (I'm afraid they know me really well there ), store checkers I try to use consistantly, bank tellers, waitresses and restraunt managers (if you have a favorite waitress, ask to be seated at her table each time you go out to eat)... _________________ Jenni Saake

Funny because I use to be really shy! Working at the Birthing Center helps me a lot and I help out at the school. I have got to know a lot of people from ball games, concerts, scouts and different functions like these the kids are involved in.
I carry stickers around with me when I am shopping etc. There is always some cute kid that catches my eye, so I give them a sticker with my logo. Kids LOVE stickers! If a child is upset or giving their parent a hard time and I give them a sticker, they get their mind off of what is making them upset. The parent loves that.
