One of the greatest enemies to the skin's pH balance is soap because it makes the skin alkaline- and thus more receptive to bacteria. Since soap is highly alkaline (and extremely drying, it should never be used on the complexion. With L'Bri cleansers, you can enjoy thorough cleansing of the surface skin and pores without drying the skin or disrupting the skin's pH balance, as soap can.
